Last week I gave a war-on-terror presentation to several dozen executives from one of the largest media companies in the United States. They wanted to know many things, but the multi-faceted subject that just kept coming up had to do with (1) whether we were winning the war in Iraq, (2) why I believe we are winning when most of the news reported by the media is negative, and (3) whether democracy truly stands a chance of survival in so fractious a place as Iraq, with its myriad religious and political factions, which are oftentimes graphically exacerbated by cultural, nationalistic and socioeconomic dynamics. Naturally, they also wanted to know how I was able to make, to date, 34 specific predictions on occurrences on the war on terror, when no other analyst has been able to do so.
First the predictions. It is not that I am some sort of modern-day soothsayer. It is just that I am fortunate enough to have spent 20 years in the Marines operating in fields and billets that allowed me to garner considerable knowledge and experience in the realm of terrorism. My well-placed connections in some of the world’s foremost intelligence, special operations, law enforcement and security services feed me topnotch information on a regular basis. And because of my position as the Director of International Security & Counterterrorism Services for The GeoScope Group, I am able to stay directly connected to all aspects of global counterterrorism. It really is that simple.
Yes, we are winning the war on terror. I believe this despite what the likes of Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, Walter Cronkite, The New York Times, the Democrats and CNN want so desperately for you to believe. I know what is really going on in the war on terror, and I know what is important when it comes to winning battles.
While saddening, the death of a single soldier or Marine cannot effect the war on terror. The leftist media wants you to believe it can, which is one of the reasons why they tell you every time a soldier or Marine dies. The leftist media also tries very hard not to tell you little tidbits like the battle in Iraq a few weeks ago that resulted in one Marine killed and 150-175 terrorists killed.
This is not to say we are not going to take it hard on the chin from time to time. We are. But wars are won by combatants who get back up each time they are knocked down, which is precisely what we have done and what we will continue to do so long as John Kerry is not elected. Nor are wars won by combatants who are gullible enough to believe what they are told by a media with an agenda, which in this case is the removal of George W. Bush from office at any cost.
Democracy does stand a chance of survival in Iraq. However, the great experiment we are trying to carry out could easily be wrecked by a once honorable party that has been hijacked by hateful extremists like Kerry, Kennedy, Pelosi and Daschle.
Helping the terrorists even more is how the Democratic Party is being ably assisted by the French, Germans, Russians and Chinese, among others. If they succeed in destroying the experiment before it has a chance to come to fruition, our strategic losses will be incalculable for decades. If this happens, we will have lost a key battle in the war on terror, an event we can sorely afford.
