Jesse Jackson kept saying: “fill up the buckets”….ohhhh yes…praise the lord!!!….fill them up!!…and kept mentioning who gave $1,000…..$2,000….by name. How wonderful! Then he was followed by the Reverend Walter Founteroy, the Chairman of the 1983 & 1993 March on Washington. Nowhere in either of these gentlemen’s impassioned plea to their listeners was it mentioned how far the black people have come in America in 40 years. None of the good. God forbid! Were that to become common knowledge, they would be out of business.
I have to wonder if black America truly listens to these purveyors of race….these charlatans of doom. What a sad commentary on black intellectualism if it is true that there exists an ear for their commentary. They are leeches…lecherous in their undertaking….devious in their message…..and designed to cultivate fear and anger on the part of their listeners through misstatements of fact and history.
Ask them if you will where the money goes. Demand a full accounting. Watch the obfuscation. Bathe in the distorted rationalization of a people hurt by history. Fortunately most of America is finally waking up to these purveyors of race and their methods. Most Americans…and oh yes, including most black Americans, now realize that these men and their ilk do not want a settling of the civil rights problem in our nation. They thrive on dissension…battle…turmoil…it is their reason for being.
Racial prejudice still exists unfortunately in our nation. Anyone who claims to be a rational being has to know that it is drastically diminished and diminishing as we speak. That’s a fact. To state otherwise and to make a lifetime and living off of it is the height of evil as I view it. These men are the anti-christ. The Jesse Jacksons of the world….the purveyors of race.
Why not celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, his accomplishments, his incredible effect on America, in a positive way, in looking at the great strides that African-Americans have made in this country in the past 40 years. Were we to do that the Jesse Jacksons of the world and the Walter Faunteroys would lose their reason for being. And what a truly glorious day that would be for America…..black and white!
