Liberals and Moral Relativism

Karl Weinberg

My friends, what have we done? From 1992 to 2000 we allowed W. J. Clinton and his gang of moral misfits from Arkansas to run our beautiful country. During that time, under a great economy, brought on mostly by the investments of the American people, the Clintons pushed a political agenda upon our nation that is now coming home to roost.

They began with Hillary Care or the call for Socialized medicine. Free healthcare for everybody just like their heroes in the Socialist countries in Europe. The American people as a whole were shocked that this proposal was even brought up, much less almost implemented.

Next was the ?Don?t ask, Don?t Tell? of the military. This little ditty caused a furor among the American people, but was a favorite among the ?Enlightened Left? of the Democratic Party and the media that prostitute for them.

If not for the Contract With America, that Newt Gingrich and the Republicans in the House brought forth, the Clintons would have leaned our country so far to the left we may have very well toppled over.

The Clintons were products of the 60?s anti-American culture. They studied on the campuses of our major universities and heard the anti-American rhetoric from many of the socialist professors that taught there. They became well versed in the ways of Socialism. The Clintons believe, as most of the Leftist academia does, that the American people cannot think for themselves, we have to be taken care of by the government. Like Marx and Lenin, they want a society of those that would take from the ones with more, so as to give to those who have less.

The Clintons believe in a moral and Constitutional relativism, that we should change our morals to fit the circumstances, along with the Constitution, when times change. Although the 90?s were a time of great prosperity for many, it was a dark time for conservatives. We had a President that did not know or care for the Rule of Law. He was impeached but was not removed from office for lying to a Grand Jury.

He used our White House as a bordello, all the while currying favor with the enemies of our Great Country.

In many ways, the children and young people of our great nation have grown up without a moral compass. Their parents work harder now for the material things that they feel will fill the void in the child?s life, but care little for the little things that they could provide for there kids, like their attention. The young people saw a president that considered oral sex as not really sex. Many teenagers now feel the same way, and why not, the president did it in the Oval office. What is the definition of the word ?is.? This is relativism.

Under the rule of the Democratic Party, lying was made into an art form. Filegate, Travelgate, Monicagate were allowed to happen and nothing done. We have seen middle of the Road Democrats became defenders of the Clintons and their Socialistic attitudes. These Democrats will not speak out against one of their own because it would insult the King & Queen of the Democratic Party. On the other side, were the conservatives that watched in horror as morals, truth and common decency were thrown out the widow. What conservatives had worked so hard for in the 80?s under one of our Greatest Presidents since Teddy Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan helped the healing process of the Watergate scandal. Under Reagan we became the only true Superpower, truly the Greatest Country. The gains under the Reagan White House were substantial. We earned respect through out the world, we were not always well liked, but we were well respected. We Americans had gotten back the Pride that we lost in the rhetoric of the Vietnam War that was fought upon the campuses of our universities and in the Leftist ?mainstream? media outlets like the New York Times and the Washington Post.

But under the rule of the Clinton misfits, we were laughed at behind our backs. Oh, they all came to us with their hands out for money, but snickered at the U.S. for our moral views. They knew we were not going to seriously involve ourselves in foreign policy. Just look at the Palestinian solution that Clinton ?worked so hard for.? It was a dog that would not hunt! At the U.N. they knew that we could send our people all over the world to spread us really thin, spread us out.

Under the Clinton regime our military budgets were cut, the Intelligence community was decimated. The Clintons and the Democrats moved us closer and closer to what the Socialists wanted, complete and total collapse of the nation. In the ?94 election we were given the choice to either make a change or stay the course, the American people chose to continue the moral decay of our country. We conservatives were devastated.

George W. Bush is an honest, faithful man who like Ronald Reagan believes in the American people. He does not think we need to be ?taken care of.? He believes that our Lord has blessed us with a wonderful nation and a Constitution to run it.

I believe that president Bush will continue to move this country back to the Right of center. Those of us on the Right thank him for his continued diligence in this matter.

After 8 years of the Clinton moral misfits, we are more than ready to continue the moral fight for our country. We Conservatives hope and pray for the president?s continued success. There is hope for our country. We will win this war of moral relativism.

God Bless America!
